Day 1 : Nairobi - Masai Mara
Our driver / guide will pick you up from Nairobi hotel or residence to drive you to Masai Mara game reserve and facilitate your camping safari. Your first stop over will be at the great rift valley view point for a few minutes to take amazing photos of part of the great rift valley. Not long after proceed to Narok town for lunch. At this point we drive upto Masai Mara to arrive in the afternoon. After check in at the camp you will head for the evening game drive with your professional and knowledgeable safari guide. Great wildlife to view and in addition you will also enjoy the African sun set as you head back to your camp for diner and overnight.
Day 2: Masai Mara
Today after breakfast; you will head out for a full day game drive. Masai Mara is home to more than 1.5 million game which includes all the members of the big five and most important you will encounter other wildlife in large numbers. Packed lunch in the wild. The game includes a visit of the Mara river where an encounter of the migration is possible depending on the season. Diner and overnight at your camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru
Wake up to the sounds of a typical morning in Africa; enjoy your breakfast as the sun rises. Later on you can opt to just relax at the camp or visit a Masai village at an extra cost. Depart by mid-morning; your driver guide will take you Lake Nakuru; Lunch en route. You will arrive at your hotel in time for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Samburu
After breakfast proceed to Lake Nakuru for a half day tour. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, water buck, reed buck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. After a wonderful Experience and you explore the home of Flamingos; you will have lunch at a restaurant in Nakuru town and thereafter travel to Samburu. You will arrive the camp in the evening; dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 5: Samburu
Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104 square kilometers). Ololokwe Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to our game views. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya’s giraffe species – the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This is also where you see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope. Dinner and overnight at your camp.
Day 6: Samburu - Nairobi
Early morning game drive so as to have a chance to see wildlife you may have missed on your previous game drives. Subsequently on a good morning you can experience “the big cats” hunting for their prey and the beautiful African sunrise. Your driver guide will take you back Nairobi; Lunch en route. Drop off either at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Nairobi hotel or residence as per arrangements made earlier. End of your best Kenya budget safari.
