Samburu Lodge Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu
First our driver / guide will pick you up from either Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi hotel or residence to drive you to Samburu game reserve and facilitate your Samburu lodge safari to arrive the reserve in time for lunch. Not long after proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy’s zebra gerenuk, beisa oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Return back to your lodge or tented camp for diner and overnight.

Day 2: Samburu
Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104 square kilometers). Ololokwe Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to our game views. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya’s giraffe species – the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This is also where you see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope. Dinner and overnight atyour lodge or tented camp.

Day 3: Samburu to Nairobi
Early morning game drive so as to have a chance to see wildlife you may have missed on your previous game drives. Subsequently on a good morning you can experience “the big cats” hunting for their prey and the beautiful African sunrise. Your driver guide will take you back Nairobi; Lunch en route. Drop off either at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, Nairobi hotel or residence as per arrangements made earlier. End of your magical Samburu lodge Safari.
